Brian Amit Ray

Brian Amit Ray has extensive experience in the legal field, with a focus on various industries and sectors. Brian Amit most recently served as the VP and Head of Legal at Epirus since September 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director and Head of Legal at Astranis from December 2021 to September 2023. Brian Amit also held positions at Maxar Technologies as the Director and Associate General Counsel from January 2021 to December 2021, and at SAP as a Senior Legal Counsel, Public Sector from October 2019 to January 2021. Before their corporate roles, they worked at AECOM as a Senior Counsel, Federal Legal Support from June 2016 to October 2019 and as a Corporate Counsel, UAE & Emerging Countries from April 2013 to May 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Legal Advisor at Saipem from August 2012 to April 2013, and at Massimo Engineering & Technical Solutions FZCO as a Legal Advisor & Contracts Manager from December 2009 to August 2012. Earlier in their career, they gained political campaign experience as a Campaign Manager for Dan Secord for District Supervisor from December 2005 to November 2006, and as Deputy Campaign Manager for Bob Pohl for State Assembly from December 2003 to November 2004.

Brian Amit Ray received their Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara in 2005. Brian Amit is currently pursuing an LLM in Government Procurement Law from The George Washington University Law School, with their degree pending completion upon submission of their thesis.
