Chase St. Laurent, PhD, is a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at EpiSci since July 2024, bringing extensive experience in research and development within the fields of robotics and machine learning. Previously, Chase worked as a Research Scientist at TMC Vibration Control from August 2021 to July 2024 and collaborated with Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Autonomy, Control, and Estimation (ACE) Laboratory, focusing on coupled sensor configuration and path-planning strategies. Chase also owned and developed applications for Folivora App Developers, LLC, specializing in AI solutions, and served as a Research Fellow at the Air Force Research Laboratory, where a multimodal sensor fusion system was developed. Other notable roles include software engineering internships and teaching assistant positions at WPI, alongside earning a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Robotics, Sensor Networks, and Machine Learning from WPI, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Robotic Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
