Saeed Kaviani

Saeed Kaviani has a diverse work experience in the fields of research and engineering. Saeed worked as a Director at EpiSys Science, Inc. starting in December 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Principal System Engineer at Silvus Technologies from February 2017 to November 2019. From April 2016 to February 2017, Saeed was a Senior R&D Engineer at Olympus Corporation of the Americas. Saeed also held the position of Senior System Engineer at Qualcomm from April 2012 to April 2016. Before joining Qualcomm, Saeed worked as a Researcher at TRTech from September 2007 to February 2012. Their career started as a Research Assistant at the University of Alberta from September 2004 to December 2006.

Saeed Kaviani pursued their education in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Saeed graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from Sharif University of Technology in 2003. Saeed went on to complete their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta between 2004 and 2006. Building upon their master's degree, they then earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta, which they completed between 2007 and 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Saeed Kaviani has obtained various certifications to further strengthen their skills. Some of these certifications include "Importing Data in Python (Part 1)" from DataCamp in October 2019, "Introduction to SQL for Data Science" from DataCamp in September 2019, "Manipulating DataFrames with pandas" from DataCamp in September 2019, "Sequence Models" from Coursera in September 2019, and others.
