Episcopal Relief & Development
Matthew Hobson currently serves as the Director of Storytelling at Episcopal Relief & Development since August 2023. Previously, Matthew held multiple roles at the International Youth Foundation from May 2017 to August 2023, culminating as the Global Communications Director, and dedicated efforts to empower youth through partnerships and initiatives. Prior experience includes being the Global Communications Designer at Bridge International Academies and serving as an Assistant Professor of Writing at Loyola University Maryland, where Matthew taught various writing courses and contributed to departmental initiatives. Matthew holds a Doctor of Philosophy in English with a creative emphasis from Florida State University, a Master of Fine Arts in Fiction Writing from McNeese State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Literature from Pacific University.
