We are actively seeking an ambitious, UK-based Commercial Analyst to join our team and work with our customers across Europe, the United States, and Australia.

Role Summary

As a Commercial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial performance of the company by analyzing market trends, financial metrics, and operational data. This role involves working closely with various departments to support decision-making processes and develop strategies that enhance profitability and business growth.

Duties

  • Perform qualitative analysis to support cross-functional strategies and forecasts for:

    • Marketing
    • Product launches including investment appraisal
    • Sales proposition analysis (including maintenance of regression analysis model on pricing)
  • Undertake a business partnering role which involves engaging with senior management across the entire organisation to understand business performance

  • Reconcile monthly revenue data from Salesforce to management accounts

  • Create and maintain detailed revenue and cost schedules on a monthly basis to monitor historic trends

  • Assist in the preparation of month reporting packs per product and business area (sales and marketing)

  • Perform net dollar retention NDR and cohort analysis

  • Perform variance analysis and prepare reports tracking performance to forecast for KPIs

  • Maintain and understand key performance indicators for each reporting segment

  • Provide critical insight on business trends and strategic initiatives

  • M&A/Transaction due diligence support

Experience

  • Fintech/SaaS experience preferable

  • Currently training for ACA/CIMA professional qualification

  • Commercial finance/FP&A experience is preferable

  • Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and absorb pressure when necessary

  • Strong MS PowerPoint Presentation Skills are preferable

  • Strong MS Excel skills essential including experience with databases

  • Power BI and SQL experience (essential)
