Tomasz Pietruszka

Tomasz Pietruszka is a seasoned data science professional and co-founder of Epum, currently serving as Chief Data Scientist since October 2023. Previously, Tomasz held various roles at Globality, Inc. from June 2020 to May 2023, including Lead, Staff Data Scientist, and Senior Data Scientist, where expertise in deep learning and natural language processing was applied. At Predictail Sp. z o.o. from 2017 to 2019, significant contributions as Lead Data Scientist involved machine learning applications for anomaly detection and failure prediction in industrial machinery. Prior experience includes a position as Quantitative Developer/Researcher at TradeLink, an internship during Google Summer of Code focusing on optical flow estimation at OpenCV, and a Junior Researcher role at the Institute of Physical Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Warsaw University of Technology and an Engineer’s degree in Mechatronics from the same institution, complemented by studies at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
