Paul Heasley

Paul Heasley has held a variety of roles within the software engineering and development industries since 2003. Paul began their career at Niche Fashion Technology as a Customer Network Administrator and Software Sales representative. Paul then moved to APT - Australian Pacific Touring in 2005, where they worked as an Analyst Programmer, and eventually became the lead Web Developer. In 2008, Paul Heasley joined Electronic Designs by SEBA as an Embedded Software Engineer and IT Administrator. In 2009, they began working at NPS MedicineWise as a Developer Team Leader. From 2014 to 2015, they were the Lead Web Developer at Australian Unity. In 2015, they joined PageUp as a Senior Technical Lead and US Technical Lead. In 2020, Paul Heasley became an Engineering Manager at A Cloud Guru. Most recently, they have been the Director of Software Engineering at Pluralsight since 2021, and will be taking on the role of Software Engineering Manager at EQL in 2022.

Paul Heasley completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from The University of Auckland in 2004. Prior to that, they attended Saint Kentigern's College Auckland from 1995 to 1999. Heasley also holds several certifications, including MCPD: Web Developer from Microsoft obtained in April 2011, AWS Certified Developer – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in November 2020, and Certified ScrumMaster® from SCRUM ALLIANCE® obtained in April 2014.
