Colin Ameigh

Colin Ameigh has extensive work experience in the software engineering and development field. Colin'smost recent position was as a Software Engineering Contractor at Equal Experts, where they started in 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Hermes as a Software Engineering Contractor from 2018 to 2019.

Before their contract roles, Colin held the position of Principal Tech Lead at Flashtalking, Inc. from 2017 to 2018. In this role, they led three teams across various technical areas and was responsible for improving the SDLC and deployment processes to meet accreditation standards.

From 2012 to 2017, Colin worked at Sky Betting and Gaming, first as a Senior Software Engineer and then as a Principal Engineer. Colin also spent a year at Sports Shoes Unlimited as a Lead Developer, where they successfully brought a major project back on track and managed the IT team.

Colin's earlier experiences include roles as a Technical Architect and Senior Developer at Ebuyer, PHP Developer at Sports Shoes Unlimited, and Systems Engineer at REM Probe Ltd.

Through their work experience, Colin has demonstrated expertise in areas such as software development, technical leadership, project management, and system architecture.

Colin Ameigh obtained a Certificate in 3D Character Animation from animationmentor.com in 2008. Prior to that, in 1999, they completed their MSc in Safety Critical Systems Engineering at the University of York. Colin had previously earned a BSc in Computer Science from the same university in 1997. In addition to their degrees, Colin also holds two certifications from BCS: the Intermediate Certificate in Enterprise & Solution Architecture, which they obtained in December 2013, and the Practitioner Certificate in Enterprise & Solution Architecture, also obtained in December 2013.
