Rebecca Stafford

Rebecca Stafford has extensive work experience in various technical and leadership roles spanning multiple companies. In 2008, they started their career at ThoughtWorks as a Senior Consultant, specializing in developer in test roles.

Rebecca then joined the BBC in 2011, where they worked as a Developer in Test Team Lead for the iPlayer engineering team, focusing on delivering releases for iPlayer, Mobile iPlayer, TV, and Channels. Rebecca was later promoted to Test Lead, leading a team of onshore and offshore staff across multiple product areas. Rebecca also contributed to the development of the POD Test strategy for Test Visibility and Automation Frameworks.

In 2014, Rebecca joined JUST EAT as a Technical Lead and later became a Technology Manager. Rebecca then moved to Marks and Spencer in 2016, where they worked as the Head of Test. In the same year, they also held a Senior Technical Consultant position at MOO.

Rebecca continued their career at various companies, including Monzo Bank in 2019 as a Senior Technical Consultant and Five AI in 2020 as a Senior Technical Consultant. Currently, they are working at Equal Experts as a Programme Delivery Manager for the Home Office and holds the role of Principal Consultant. In 2022, they will transition into the role of Delivery Engagement Lead, specifically for the John Lewis & Partners project.

Rebecca Stafford completed their education in a chronological order by first attending Durham University, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science with a focus on Software Engineering.
