Eleanor Hutchison Khan is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the legal field. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Lawyer at the Equality and Human Rights Commission since July 2022, Eleanor leads a litigation and advisory team. Previous roles include a tenured position as a Door Tenant and Barrister at One Pump Court Chambers, specializing in criminal law, human rights, and public law. Eleanor has also contributed to legal education as a Law Lecturer at BPP, advising on crime and international law. Further experience includes consulting roles with organizations such as Global Rights Compliance and MZM Legal LLP, and a legal assistant position at the United Nations Special Court for Sierra Leone. Eleanor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Anthropology and Law from SOAS University of London, a Graduate Diploma in Law from The University of Law, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching from BPP University.
