Jim Alexander has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jim is currently the Vice President of Complex Care Operations at Equality Health, where they oversee all aspects of care operations and focuses on expanding services. Prior to this, Jim worked as a Senior Advisor at CNA Corporation and served as an Advisory Board Member at the Televerde Foundation, a non-profit organization aimed at empowering incarcerated individuals. Jim also has experience in academia, having served as a Faculty Lead Mentor and Adjunct Faculty at Southern New Hampshire University, Associate Faculty at the University of Arizona Global Campus, and Adjunct Faculty and Subject Matter Expert at DeVry University. Additionally, they have had a long-standing role as an Adjunct Instructor at Northern Michigan University and provided consulting as a Subject Matter Expert for the Criminal Justice Program at Argosy University. Earlier in their career, Jim held a leadership position as a State Administrative Manager for the State of Michigan, where they played a critical role in driving transformation and efficiency within the organization.

Jim Alexander attended Michigan Technological University from 2012 to 2014 in the Applied Cognitive Science and Human Behavior PhD program. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Arts degree in Public Administration from Northern Michigan University from 1993 to 1996. Jim also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Northern Michigan University, which they earned from 1987 to 1991.
