William Collins

William Collins is a founding engineer at Equals. Prior to that, they were an engineering manager at SurveyMonkey, where they led a team of 3 front end engineers and 2 SDETs on the Wufoo product. William was also responsible for weekly 1 on 1s with direct reports, incoming bug triaging, technical oversight of project architecture, participation in product roadmap decision making and planning. At SurveyMonkey, they also worked as a software engineer on the FluidReview product. William is responsible for crafting SQL statements for data storage and retrieval (we used native SQL, Django ORM, and Sqlalchemy), Python, and Javascript, Backbone, Handlebars, and Jinja2 templating for the front end.
