Bede Nwamadi

Bede Nwamadi serves as the Head of Regional Operations at Equinix since August 2024, focusing on managing operations and team development to enhance efficiency and productivity. Prior to this role, Bede held various positions at MainOne from March 2010 to August 2024, including Head of GNOC & Field Operations, where responsibilities encompassed submarine cable management and ensuring customer satisfaction. Bede also contributed as Head of Field Support & Operations and Project Manager/Transmission Specialist, overseeing operational processes, resource mentoring, and the implementation of cable landing stations. Earlier experience includes a role as Transmission Specialist at Huawei and as a Transmission Engineer at GT Telecom Private Limited. Bede holds an Executive MBA from Lagos Business School and multiple degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Management Information Systems.
