Avichai Amrad

Avichai Amrad has a diverse work experience in the fields of agriculture and research. Avichai started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Universität Bern in 2013, where they worked until July 2017. In 2017, they joined Equinom Ltd as a Senior Breeder, Legumes, and then moved on to become the Legume Breeding Lead from April 2018 to August 2020. Avichai later transitioned to the role of Projects & Partnership Manager in August 2020 and was eventually promoted to the position of Director, Pulses Product Manager in March 2022.

Avichai Amrad started their education at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2003 and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Sciences. Avichai then pursued a Master of Science degree in Plant Genetics at the same university from 2007 to 2009. Following their Master's degree, Avichai continued their education at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Plant Genetics from 2009 to 2013.
