Geir Kvalheim

Geir Kvalheim is a seasoned IT infrastructure professional with extensive experience in various roles at prominent companies. Currently serving as Lead Analyst - IT Infrastructure at Equinor since October 2020, Geir previously held the same position at Equinor Russia from November 2018 to October 2020. Prior to these roles, Geir spent over a decade at Statoil, rising through positions from Staff Engineer to Leading Advisor in multiple fields including End User IT infrastructure and Communication Technologies. Earlier in the career, Geir worked as IT Coordinator at Aker Maritime - AOP and held various roles within Aker Maritime - Maritime Well Service, including IT Responsible and Logging Engineer. The career began in the Royal Norwegian Navy as Lead Machine Technician, following initial experience as a Sailor at A/S J. Ludwig Mowinckels Rederi. Geir Kvalheim holds a degree in Maritime Engineering from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences.
