Karen Inkster

Karen Inkster currently serves as the Contracting & Procurement Lead for Renewables at Equinor, where responsibilities include procurement leadership for Electrical System Infrastructure on a US offshore wind project. Prior experience includes a role as Contracting & Procurement Manager at OMV, focusing on offshore greenfield electrification and developing contracting strategies for UKCS and Black Sea projects. At Statoil, Karen contributed as a Subsea Category Strategy Advisor and Portfolio Contract Manager, managing high-value contracts in subsea production systems. A seasoned procurement specialist, Karen’s career began at BP, where roles included Senior Procurement Specialist for the Skarv Project and Site Management Coordinator at the Sullom Voe Terminal. Educational qualifications include a first-class LLB in Law from the University of Aberdeen and a PG Diploma in European Policy, Law & Management from Robert Gordon University.
