Dayanand G V

Dayanand G V has extensive work experience in various roles related to food tech, compliance, environment, health, safety, and sustainability. Dayanand is currently the Head of Food Tech, Compliance & EHS at Equinox Labs since November 2021. Before that, they worked as the Safety & Sustainability Lead (Senior Manager) at Compass Group India from April 2018 to May 2021. Prior to that, they were the QHSE & Sustainability Lead & Auditor at Quess Corp Limited, where they were responsible for managing integrated management certifications and food safety management systems. Additionally, they served as the QHSE Manager at Daimler India Comercial Vehicles Oragadam and as the QHSE Lead at Toyota Kirloskar Motor. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Executive in Quality Assurance at The Akshaya Patra Foundation and as a Marketing Specialist at Biopharm Drugs & Pharmaceuticals.

Dayanand G V completed their Master of Science (MS) in Microbiology from Bangalore University between 2010 and 2012. Dayanand also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Microbiology, General from the same university. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, also from Bangalore University. Dayanand G V has acquired additional certifications in ISO EMS, QMS & OHSAS Internal Auditor and Lead Auditor ISO 22000 from Det Norske Veritas in December 2014.
