Shilpa Gupta

Shilpa Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Shilpa is currently the Managing Director & Group COO at Equirus Group. Prior to that, they worked at Suzlon Group as the Head of Strategy and Corporate Planning, from December 2020 to October 2022. Before that, they were the Director of Strategy and Business Development at SageOne Investment Managers from May 2017 to December 2020. Shilpa has also contributed to the field of ethics and transparency in various organizations, such as the Confederation of Indian Industry, where they served as a member of the Working Group on Ethics and Transparency in Higher Professional Education from October 2017 to November 2020. Shilpa has also written books as an author for Jaico Publishing House, Rupa Publications India, and Aleph Book Company. Additionally, they have held positions at Mind Matters, ICICI Securities, ICI India, and Unit Trust of India, where they gained experience in finance and equity research.

Shilpa Gupta has an MBA in Finance and Financial Management Services from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, which they obtained from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee from 1990 to 1994. Shilpa also has additional certifications in corporate directorship from the Institute of Directors.
