Michael Linden

Michael Linden is a seasoned policy expert currently serving as a Senior Policy Fellow at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth since July 2023. Prior experience includes high-level roles at the Office of Management and Budget, where Michael was the Executive Associate Director and Senior Advisor from January 2021 to June 2023, and as Executive Director at Groundwork Collaborative from May 2018 to January 2021. Additional notable positions include being a Fellow at the Roosevelt Institute, Managing Director of Policy and Research at The Hub Project, and Senior Advisor roles in both the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee and the U.S. Senate Budget Committee. Michael's career in economic policy is further highlighted by a decade at the Center for American Progress in various leadership capacities. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Brown University.
