Dabwitso Zumani Phiri

Dabwitso Zumani Phiri is a dynamic leader and co-founder of the Amini Centre for Policy Research (ACPR), where efforts are focused on promoting youth-led policy research in Africa. Currently serving as an Associate Trainer at ActionAid Zambia and a Civic Tech Institute Fellow at Equitech Futures, Dabwitso is dedicated to empowering communities through training on topics such as gender equality and social justice. Previously, as a co-founder and Political Editor at The Column Network, Dabwitso played a pivotal role in creating impactful content for young audiences. With experience as a Teaching Assistant in Broadcast Journalism at Ashoka University, Dabwitso has contributed to academic support and facilitated online learning during the pandemic. Dabwitso holds a B.A. Hons in Political Science from Ashoka University, with a minor in Media Studies.
