Research Fellow at Equitech Futures

Mitchell Odili currently serves as a Member of the Risk Management Board, Climate and Sustainability Working Party at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, focusing on the impact of climate change on the insurance and finance industry. As a Venture Fellow at Equitech Futures, Mitchell leads data science initiatives and guides AI research, presenting findings at major conferences, including the European Geosciences Convention and the World Climate Research Programme. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Corporate Finance at Nxet Partners Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed market research, financial modeling, and project structuring across various sectors. Mitchell also contributed as a Fellow with Anza Strategy Ltd, supporting African diaspora graduates, and worked as a Strategy Analyst at AITEC Africa and as a summer intern at Co-operative Bank of Kenya. Educational qualifications include an ongoing Actuarial Qualification from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from Jomo Kenyatta University.
