Josh Springthorpe

Josh Springthorpe has a comprehensive work experience in the financial industry. Josh is currently serving as the Chief Data Officer at Equiti Group since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at OANDA from 2019 to 2022, where they held multiple roles including Head of Analytics and FP&A, Head of Analytics, and Interim Head of Financial Risk. At OANDA, they led a team of 14 Data Analysts and Data Scientists, directed data strategy, and implemented various initiatives resulting in revenue growth and improved client management. Before OANDA, they worked at IG from 2014 to 2019, holding positions such as Head of Onboarding Operations, Quantitative Analyst, Dealer (Volatility Desk), and Graduate Trainee in Quantitative Research.

Josh Springthorpe attended the University of York from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Economics.
