Chris Aguayo

Mr. Aguayo has over 10 years of experience of engineering in metallurgical and corrosion engineering. He has spent most of his career in an owner-operator role at Chevron and Shell and has been involved in numerous corrosion control document reviews, risk-based inspection reviews, turnaround repairs, dead-leg assessments, and material selection.

Mr. Aguayo has been consulting for the past few years and has been involved in renewable diesel facility rebuild, including damage mechanism reviews (DMRs), material selection reviews, re-use assessments, and weld repair plans development. During this time, Mr. Aguayo has also facilitated DMRs for a major petrochemical facility, turnaround extension assessment, CML optimization, and a plant-wide CUI risk assessment.
