John Hyjer

John Hyjer currently serves as First Vice President of Investments & Development at Equity Residential since 2006 and has been a Principal at Transit Village Associates since 1995, overseeing the Walnut Creek Transit Village project, which includes 596 residential units and 21,000 square feet of retail space. From 1998 to 2001, John Hyjer was President of Sierra Capital Corporate Advisors. Prior experience includes a Vice President position at Grubb & Ellis Company from 1983 to 1992, where responsibilities encompassed managing significant developments including the Hyatt Regency and Oakland Convention Center.
