Hélène Apaza Blanco

Hélène Apaza Blanco is a Senior Mineral Processing Engineer at Eramet since January 2019, specializing in extractive metallurgy and process improvement through field trials and data analysis. Previously, Hélène contributed to the industrialization of NMC battery recycling, focusing on the Black Mass production process while ensuring compliance and coordinating stakeholders. Prior roles include Mineral Processing Research Engineer at NEO2 and Research Engineer at Université de Lorraine, where Hélène conducted experimental research on tin and tungsten ore flotation. Early experience spans geologist intern positions at CECA S.A. and COMPTOIR DES CALCAIRES ET MATERIAUX, alongside a summer internship at SEMOFI. Hélène holds a Diplôme d'Ingénieur in Génie et gestion des matières premières minérales from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie.
