Jiangwen Majeti

GM, China & Head of Global Collaborations at Erasca

Jiangwen (Jen) Majeti is General Manager, China & Head of Global Collaborations of Erasca, with more than 17 years of biopharmaceutical experience in R&D, business development, supplier management and outsourcing. Jen joined Erasca from Roche/Genentech where she led a team of managers responsible for the development and execution of Roche’s global outsourcing strategy to support its clinical development pipeline. In this role, she channeled resources and built partnerships to implement the strategy across a multi-disciplinary, multi-site global organization. She managed relationships between Roche and its partners and helped maximize the value that they could bring to Roche. Prior to this, she was the Senior Director of Business Development at PPD, a global contract research organization. Before this, she was a senior scientist at Amgen, where she led multiple projects in drug discovery and target validation involving both small molecules and biologics. Jen is also active in the biotech community, as the past president and current board director of the Chinese American BioPharmaceutical Society (CABS), a non-profit organization focused on building a stronger community among biopharmaceutical professionals in the US and China.

Jen earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and obtained her postdoctoral training through the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at the University of California, San Francisco. She also earned an MBA from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, graduating as a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at Fudan University in China.
