Jens-Christian Schwindt is the CEO of SIMCharacters GmbH since August 2012, leading initiatives to enhance the quality of care for critically ill children through innovative simulations, including the world's first high emotion preterm simulator, Paul. The organization provides a range of training services in patient safety, resuscitation, and consulting across German-speaking countries. Jens-Christian Schwindt is also a European and National Newborn Life Support trainer with the ERC European Resuscitation Council, contributing to the field as a member of the International Course Committee. Additionally, experience includes serving as a Patient Safety Trainer at Assekurisk and a Consultant in Pediatrics and Neonatology at the Medical University Vienna from 2001 to 2015. Jens-Christian Schwindt co-chaired the 6th International Simulation Symposia and Workshops in 2014, showcasing expertise in pediatric simulation. Education includes a Staats-examen in Medicine from Goethe University Frankfurt obtained between 1994 and 1999.
