Scott Seligman

Scott Seligman has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles. Scott is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at ErgoSuture since April 2022. Prior to this, Scott worked at Össur as the Global Vice President of R&D from July 2017 to April 2022. In this role, they provided strategic leadership for R&D teams in multiple countries, sourced top talent, improved processes, and empowered teams to achieve their goals.

Scott also has extensive experience at DJO, where they served as the Vice President of R&D for 20 years. During their tenure, they hired, trained, and mentored engineering staff, and developed a cross-functional project management process and portfolio planning tool to track and evaluate resources, revenue, and market value.

Before DJO, Scott was the Owner and Inventor of SmartBlocks Inc. from 2007 to 2013. Scott founded the corporation, developed the product, and managed all aspects of the business. SmartBlocks Inc. received multiple awards, including the San Diego Business Journal Innovation Award.

Scott started their career at Sea Quest as an Engineering Manager, where they excelled in project management, product design, and vendor sourcing. Scott created several groundbreaking products that positioned the company as a market leader. Additionally, they worked as a Design Engineer at General Dynamics from 1985 to 1988.
