Leah Micholas

Leah Micholas has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. Leah started their career at Aetna as an Underwriter and then moved on to Zurich Insurance Company, where they held various positions in personal lines underwriting, training, sales, and service. Leah then joined The Hartford as a Personal Lines Sales Representative and later became a Property & Casualty Sales Executive, driving new business production and maintaining strong agency relationships. Leah eventually became a Regional Sales Manager, leading a sales team and achieving superior ratings on agent and employee surveys. Currently, Leah is Vice President & Branch Manager at Erie Insurance Group, responsible for managing profitable revenue growth and talent management, overseeing a large agency force and a significant book of business in the Pittsburgh Branch territory. Throughout their career, Leah has consistently demonstrated high performance and achieved various awards and recognitions for their outstanding achievements.

Leah Micholas holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from PennWest Clarion, which they obtained from 1985 to 1989. In 2019, they also completed an Executive Leadership Certification in Organizational Leadership from Yale University. Additionally, Leah has obtained certifications as a Certified Insurance Counselor from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research, and as a Certified Professional Insurance Agent from the AIMS (American Insurance Marketing and Sales) Society.
