Koen de Groot

Koen de Groot has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Koen started their career in 2007 as a Team Leader at Albert Heijn Koornneef, where they were responsible for creating an inspiring team environment and setting clear goals. In 2013, they worked as a Teacher of Mechanics at SG Den Haag Zuid-West, where they presented comprehensive lessons and provided individualized instruction to students.

In 2015, Koen co-founded and served as a Co-Founder & Designer at Brand New Light i.o., a startup company focused on innovative LED street lighting. Koen developed high-quality business strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.

From 2016 to 2017, Koen worked at Siemens as a Management Trainee, where they prospecte‍d for new business opportunities and helped managers with daily tasks. Koen then joined TU Delft as a Student Assistant Minor Automotive, coaching on automotive design and providing instruction to students.

In 2018, Koen joined SHV as a Sales Manager, where they supervised a team of direct reports and implemented CRM Dynamics software to improve customer satisfaction. Koen later became a Purchase Manager, where they supervised a team and guided the migration of the purchasing department's software.

In 2022, Koen joined Maagtechnic AG (an ERIKS company) as a Business Development Manager, responsible for setting goals, researching prospective accounts, and implementing new target market initiatives. Koen then moved to ERIKS Nederland in 2023, where they currently hold the position of Business Unit Manager.
