Laurens Schot

Laurens Schot has extensive work experience in procurement and purchasing roles. Laurens started in 1996 as a Branch Manager at Start Uitzendbureau. From 2001 to 2012, they worked at DAF Trucks NV, where they held various positions, including Director of Purchasing Non Production Goods and Manager of Direct Trade Sales. In 2012, they joined Catharina Hospital Eindhoven as the Manager of Purchasing. In 2013, they returned to DAF Trucks NV as the Senior Director of Purchasing. Finally, in 2019, Laurens Schot joined ERIKS as the Region Procurement Director and later became the Global Procurement Director.

Laurens Schot has a diverse education history. In 1992, they began their studies at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained an Ing./Bachelor degree in Business Management and Engineering in 1996. Laurens then pursued further education at Open Universiteit from 1999 to 2003, earning a Drs./Msc degree in Business administration/Bedrijfskunde/Business management/Bedrijfsmanagement. In 2018, Laurens attended INSEAD for a short-term program in Finance for Executives.
