Erika Washburn

Erika Washburn is an experienced professional with a robust background in environmental management, consulting, and strategic planning. Currently serving as a Founding Member of Unreasonable Collective and a Principal Technical Consultant at ERM: Environmental Resources Management, Washburn emphasizes high-impact tech ventures and climate change solutions. Previous roles include Director and CEO of Washburn Environmental Solutions, LLC, and Director of the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve, where leadership spanned program operations and multi-institutional collaborations. Additional experience includes positions with The Nature Conservancy, NOAA, and academic research at the University of New Hampshire and the University of Southern Denmark. Erika possesses a Ph.D. in Natural Resources and Earth Systems Science, along with degrees in Marine Biology, Archaeology, and Anthropology.
