Maryke Ferreira

Maryke Ferreira is a Senior Consultant specializing in Capital Project Delivery for Sustainable Infrastructure at ERM since January 2024. Previously, Maryke held the role of Product Implementation Communications and Projects Manager at TopUp Consultants and served as a Senior Science Technician at both Saint Gregory's Catholic College and Harper Green School. Maryke's research background includes a position as a Researcher at the Agricultural Research Council - Onderstepoort Veterinary Research Institute, focusing on vaccine development for African Horse Sickness within the Virology Department. Additionally, Maryke worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Johannesburg and the University of the Free State, and has teaching experience as a Practical Coordinator and Temporary Lecturer in Physiology. Maryke earned a PhD, an MSc, and a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Zoology from the University of Johannesburg, and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Biochemistry from Rand Afrikaans University.
