Yakuta Bhagat

Yakuta Bhagat, Ph.D., is a Principal Technical Consultant and Scientist at ERM since September 2023, following extensive experience in environmental science and project management. Previously, at EnviroScience, Inc., from January 2017 to September 2023, Yakuta managed a diverse portfolio of compliance and natural resource projects, conducted statistical analyses, and developed ecological risk assessments in accordance with state and federal regulations. Professional experience includes positions as a Research Associate at the University of Minnesota Duluth, a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore, and an Environmental Scientist at Barr Engineering. Yakuta has a strong academic background with a Ph.D. in Environmental and Life Sciences from Trent University, an MSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Windsor, and a BSc in Marine and Freshwater Biology from the University of Guelph. Yakuta has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented research findings at various national and international conferences.
