Olasunmbo Bello (Ola)

Olasunmbo (Ola) Bello has a strong background in internal audit, with diverse experiences in various roles throughout their career. Ola currently holds the position of Head of Internal Audit at IQUW since September 2021. Prior to this, Ola served as the Head of Internal Audit at ERS from August 2015 onwards and also held the role of Internal Auditor at the same company from September 2014 to July 2015.

Before joining ERS, Ola worked at RBS Insurance as an Audit Manager from October 2005 to August 2014. In this role, they successfully led and managed audit teams, reviewed and challenged audit work, and performed risk-based audits and bespoke reviews.

Earlier in their career, Ola was an Audit Analyst at Bentley Jennison from June 2004 to September 2005, where they performed risk-based audits and provided assurance to management. They also trained and supervised junior staff on schools audit.

Ola began their professional journey as a Trainee Auditor at Parys Snowdon Services from December 2003 to June 2004. In this role, they assessed and reviewed controls assurance for NHS clients, reported findings, and followed up on previous year audit recommendations.

Olasunmbo (Ola) Bello began their education in 1998 at South Thames College, where they pursued their A Levels. Olasunmbo (Ola) remained at the college until 2000. Following their time at South Thames College, Ola proceeded to enroll at Kingston University in 2000. Olasunmbo (Ola) dedicated three years to obtaining a Bachelor's degree from Kingston University, majoring in Accounting and Finance, and successfully completed their studies in 2003.
