Albie Fong

Albie Fong has been working in the cleantech sector since 2005. In that time, they have held a variety of roles with multiple companies. From 2005 to 2008, they were an Electrical Engineer at OptiSwitch Technology, where they designed and fabricated custom optic fibers for thyristor technology advancement. Albie also designed a customized automated test system through LabView to increase thyristor testing productivity. From 2008 to 2012, they were the Managing Director and Chief Project Engineer at Albiasa Corporation, where they managed the company's North American business departments and created new business models in the cleantech sector. Albie also helped manage the component supply chain throughout the United States, Canada, China, India, and the MENA region. From 2012 to 2014, they were the Key Accounts Executive and Senior Manager of Project Execution & Sales at Talesun Solar, where they managed commercial and utility scale project execution and assisted in arranging financial partnerships and financing structures. From 2014 to 2017, they were the National Sales Director at Solar Frontier Americas Inc. and the Director of Commercial Development at Cogenra Solar, where they led project development and implementation of Cogenra Solar's proprietary low concentration PV technology into commercial, industrial, and small utility ground mount projects. Since 2021, they have been the Sr. Director of Business Development at Erthos, Inc.

Albie Fong attended Hayward High School from 1997 to 2001. Albie then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at UC San Diego, which they completed in 2005.
