Jahan Shafizadeh

Jahan Shafizadeh has over 25 years of experience in product and program management, user experience (UX), and research. In 2022, they began their current role as VP Product at eSalon. From 2015-2022, they were the Head of Digital Product Management and User Experience (UX) at Rodan + Fields, where they managed all product offerings and grew the team to 15+ UX and product managers. From 2014-2015, they were the Director of Product at SmartRecruiters, responsible for all aspects of the company's ecommerce and candidate monetization products. From 2004-2014, they were at eBay Inc, where they held various roles, including Head of Product & Program Management - eBay Digital, Head of North America Trust Experiences, and Global Product Lead of Catalog and Classification Infrastructure. From 2000-2004, they were a Communications and High Tech Experienced Consultant at Accenture, where they co-led a team converting eBay's legacy billing system to an enterprise-level telecommunication billing platform. From 1995-2000, they were a Research Lead/Lecturer and Research Associate at the University of Washington, where they managed the Polymeric Composites Laboratory and published over 15 articles in the field of polymer science.

Jahan Shafizadeh obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 1995. Jahan then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington in 1999. Following this, they received a Master of Science in Industrial Management from \u00c9cole Sup\u00e9rieure de Commerce Et de Management - ESCEM in 2000.
