Daniel de León Hernández has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Daniel started their career at Edosoft Factory S.L. in 2013 as an IoT Developer, working on RFID systems projects and utilizing Python as a programming language. In 2014, they joined ICE Gateway GmbH as a Software Developer before transitioning to a System Engineer role at Expleo Group in 2015.

In 2020, Daniel worked at SES Satellites as a Security Analyst, focusing on triaging and monitoring event logs and threat alerts in support of the SOC. Daniel also gained experience in security automation using technologies such as SOAR.

From 2021 to 2022, Daniel worked at Endesa as an Industrial Control System Manager, where they were responsible for managing and maintaining IT/OT network projects, SCADA system management, and incident management.

Currently, they are employed at eSentire as a SOC Analyst from 2023.

Daniel de León Hernández has a strong educational background in the field of telecommunications and cybersecurity. Daniel obtained a Master's Degree in Cybersecurity and Information Security from Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha in the year 2020. Prior to that, they completed a University Master's degree in Telecommunications Technologies from Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 2012. Daniel also holds a Degree in Telecommunication Technologies Engineering from the same university, which they obtained in 2011. In 2010, Daniel earned the title of Technical Engineer of Telecommunications, specializing in Telecommunications Systems from Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel has pursued various certifications to enhance their skills in the field. Daniel obtained a Powershell for Pentesters certification from The Security Sentinel in July 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Professional Certificate in Ethical Hacking Expert in September 2018, a Professional Certificate in Ethical Hacking in September 2017, and a Professional Certificate in Network Security in January 2017, all from The Security Sentinel.
