Hossein Parastar has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and technology. Hossein currently holds the position of Threat Analyst II (Microsoft Threat Specialist) at eSentire since July 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Cyber Security and Privacy Consultant at PwC from June 2022 to July 2022, and as a Cyber Security and Privacy Consultant from March 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining PwC, Hossein was actively involved in academic research and teaching at the University of New Brunswick. Hossein worked as a Graduate Research Assistant from January 2021 to March 2021 and from August 2018 to January 2021.
