Laura Martínez Juan

Laura Isabel Martinez is a seasoned Systems Engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace sector. Currently serving at Riverside Research since April 2020, Laura acts as the main systems engineer for a satellite collection planning suite, leveraging expertise in orbital mechanics, space-based sensors, and satellite imagery to perform model-based systems engineering tasks. Prior to this, Laura worked at Orbit Logic from October 2015 to April 2020, where responsibilities included supporting various government and commercial space missions, automating software testing procedures, and developing system requirements for image collection planning software. Laura began the professional career with a brief tenure at Cognizant Technology Solutions. Laura holds a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, earned in 2015.
