David Porras

David Porras has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David is currently the Director of Payment & Risk Operations at ESW since October 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Head Of Omnichannel Payments & Fraud EME at SEPHORA from March 2020 to October 2021. David has also worked at L'Oréal in various roles including Payments & Fraud Manager, Payments & eCustomer Care Manager Western Europe, Business Planner, Customer Supply Optimizer, and Information Management Market Supply Logistics. Additionally, they worked as an Event and Image Assistant at Kering and as a Creator and Developer at Eminence magazine. David began their career as an Analyst and Writer at Moneda Newspaper.

David Porras obtained a Baccalauréat degree in Economique et Social from Lycée Jules Verne Guatemala in 2003. David then went on to earn a Licence Administration Economique et Juridique degree in Economie, Droit from Aix-Marseille University, which they completed from 2003 to 2006. In 2007 and 2008, David pursued a Master of international business degree in International Manager from Grenoble Ecole de Management. David later obtained a Master Pro 2 degree in Transports Internationaux from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, which they completed from 2009 to 2011. In terms of certifications, David has completed various courses, such as the Certified Payments and Fraud Prevention Professional Certificate from MRC | Merchant Risk Council in 2023 and Cybersecurity Basics - MOOC SecNumacadémie from ANSSI - Agence nationale de la sécurité des systèmes d'information in 2020.
