Richard Jakab has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Richard started their career at Plus Licens AB, where they served as the VP Sales & Marketing Eastern Europe. During their time there, they established the company in new territories, built a successful sales team, and initiated anti-piracy efforts.
Following that, Richard joined MTM- SBS Rt. (TV2) as the Head of New Media and Promotional Marketing. In this role, they managed various media platforms and successfully restructured the company's website. Richard also launched interactive TV shows and implemented 360-degree promotional marketing projects.
Richard then moved on to Sony Pictures Entertainment, where they held the position of Managing Director/Sales Director - 2waytraffic. Richard was responsible for format and program sales, as well as the development of interactive and mobile content. Richard achieved significant growth in sales, opened new markets, and introduced successful reality formats.
Richard later joined Red Bull Media House North America as the Director of Commercial Operations and subsequently became the Head of Sales Operations/Sales Director. In these roles, they managed content distribution, increased turnover, and coordinated the placement of the "Red Bull Stratos" live feed.
Richard's career then took him to DreamHack, where they held positions such as VP Content Sales EMEA and Director of Content & Format Sales. Richard played a key role in expanding the company's content sales in the EMEA region and received recognition for their contributions.
Most recently, Richard has been associated with ESL FACEIT Group and ESL Gaming as the VP Content Sales EMEA & LatAm. Richard has been instrumental in driving content sales in these regions.

Richard Jakab received their Abitur from German School Stockholm from 1972 to 1984. Richard later pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business & Administration at the University of Stockholm, Sweden, from 1986 to 1990.
