Gabe Martin

Gabe Martin has extensive experience in software development and engineering. Gabe started their career as a Web Developer at Northfork WebWRX in 1999, where they worked on ASP web development and SQL Server database development. Gabe then joined Attachmate Corporation in 2000 as a Software Engineer, focusing on enterprise development using Microsoft technologies such as COM, Win32 API, and MFC. In 2011, Gabe joined Faithlife as a Mobile Application Developer, where they transformed an iOS app design to Android design patterns using cross-platform C++ code. Gabe then held various positions at Emergency Reporting starting in 2014, including Software Engineer III, Development Manager, and Principal Software Engineer. At Emergency Reporting, they led multiple growing development teams in building a cloud-based Fire/EMS reporting solution. Gabe joined ESO in 2014 as a Staff Software Development Engineer and is currently in that role.

Gabe Martin completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Western Washington University from 1996 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Mountain View High School from 1994 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, Gabe has obtained several certifications including the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PEOPLECERT in December 2016, the MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft in December 2016, and the MS: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions certification, also from Microsoft, in December 2016. Gabe also received the Introduction to Incident Command System ICS-100 certification from FEMA in November 2016. Furthermore, Gabe has completed various online courses, including JavaScript Road Trip Part 3, breaking-the-ice-with-regular-expressions, and javascript-best-practices from Code School in August 2015.
