Mike Pelham

Mike Pelham has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Mike started their career as the Founder and Managing Director at CAD/CAM Group Ltd, where they were responsible for distribution, sales, and support for CAD/CAM Group Inc. Mike then moved on to become the Founder and Managing Director at Axiom (LTD), where they provided consulting and CAD support, as well as developed robotic control software for Bio-tech.

In 1995, Mike co-founded Advantage Logic Inc to help develop an innovative new FPGA architecture, which was eventually licensed to a major FPGA manufacturer. Mike then worked as a Consultant at Cadmazing Inc, specializing in Cadence software and providing consulting services to various chip design companies.

Mike joined Transmeta Corporation in 1998 and held multiple roles, including Senior CAD Engineer, Layout Manager, and Technical Director. Mike also worked at Synopsys as a Consultant and at Applied Micro / Macom as a Principal DA Engineer, providing physical design support and backend tapeout using tools such as Cadence Virtuoso and Mentor Calibre.

Most recently, Mike worked as a Physical Verification Engineer at Apple and Esperanto Technologies, Inc, where they were responsible for backend physical verification and tapeout operations. Mike also had extensive interface with foundries.

Mike Pelham attended the University of Southampton from 1970 to 1973, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. Mike continued their education at the same university from 1971 to 1974 and obtained a Master of Science degree in Microelectronics.
