Rami Shrourou

Vice President, Strategic Initiatives at Esports Engine

Rami Shrourou has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Rami began their career as a Teaching Assistant at Arizona State University in 2012, where they assisted Dr. Christa Lynch in a Learning and Motivation class.

In 2007, Rami joined Major League Gaming as a Tournament Admin and later became a Tournament Director, a role they held until 2016. During their time there, they played a key role in organizing and managing gaming tournaments.

In 2014, Rami transitioned to Target, where they worked as an Executive Team Leader in Human Resources. Rami held this position until 2016, contributing to the company's HR operations and strategies.

In 2016, Rami joined Activision Blizzard as a Manager in League Operations. Rami was responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the leagues within the organization.

Rami's most recent position is with Esports Engine, where they initially served as the Director of Strategy and Operations from September 2019 to February 2021. Rami then moved on to become the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. In these roles, Rami played a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives and managing operations within the company.

Throughout their career, Rami has gained valuable experience in strategic planning, operations management, and organizational leadership.

Rami Shrourou attended Arizona State University from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology. During the same period, they also pursued a minor in Communication, General. In March 2023, Rami obtained a certification as a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci.
