Catherine Fearon CEnv. CSci. has a diverse work experience background in the water industry and environmental sector. Catherine currently holds the position of Head of Regulatory Compliance (Water) at ESP Utilities Group Ltd, where they ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for ESP Water. Prior to this, Catherine held the role of Water Quality Regulation Manager at Anglian Water Services for nearly eight years, followed by the role of WQ Strategy and Risk Manager. Catherine also served as a DWI Inspector (secondment) at the Drinking Water Inspectorate. Catherine's earlier experience includes positions such as Water Quality Manager at South East Water, Water Quality Scientist at Mid Kent Water, and participation in the Graduate Technologists Development Scheme at Anglian Water Services. Catherine started their career as a Consents and Permitting Scientist at the Environment Agency and gained valuable experience as a Graduate Trainee at the Met Office.
Catherine Fearon CEnv. CSci. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Oceanography, Chemical and Physical from Bangor University between 1992 and 1995. Catherine then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Water Science and Technology from Trinity College Dublin from 1997 to 1998. Additionally, Catherine obtained a certification as a Chartered Environmentalist from the Institute of Water in January 2009.
