Richard Purkis

Richard Purkis is an experienced professional in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), currently serving as a Senior Technical Support Analyst at Esri UK since September 2017, where Richard also held the position of GIS Technical Support Analyst. Prior to this role, Richard worked as a Junior GIS Consultant at Helyx SIS from November 2015 to October 2018 and as a Junior Engineering Surveyor at GM Surveys and Projects in mid-2014. Richard's early career included a position as a Floorplan Digitiser at Trueplan (UK) Limited in August 2012. Richard holds a Master’s Degree in Geographic Information Science from The University of Edinburgh (2014-2015) and a Bachelor's Degree in Surveying and Mapping from Newcastle University (2011-2014). Richard completed education at Cranbrook School from September 2007 to August 2011.
