Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative educational technologies. At SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the design and development of hardware and firmware for DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Prior experience includes electronics contracting for the Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris focused on the design and repair of educational devices, as well as roles at the University of Calgary as a teaching assistant and at Grindcom as an electronics engineer, working on control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
