Maarten Moolhuysen

Maarten Moolhuysen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Head of Hydrogen and Strategy Director at Essent since 2003. Moolhuysen is a key member of the Essent Leadership team, responsible for corporate development and strategic direction, while also advising the board of directors on strategic priorities. Previous roles include leading transformation programs for consumer activities and implementing new regulations in the Dutch energy market. Moolhuysen has a strong background in project management, having managed diverse teams and numerous projects at Essent, as well as working as a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and a project manager at KPN Telecom. Moolhuysen holds a Master's degree in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology and has furthered education at esteemed institutions such as INSEAD and the AOG School of Management.
