Nathan Roper

Nathan Roper serves as the Vice President Public Relations at Port Macquarie Toastmasters Club, focusing on enhancing the Toastmasters brand to attract and retain members since June 2023. With a long tenure at Essential Energy starting in October 2011, Nathan has held various roles including Senior Engineering Officer in Network Protection and Network Earthing, alongside experience as an Engineering Officer in Zone Substation Design and Electrical Technician. Earlier professional experience includes working as an Electrician at Chris Fardell Electrical from June 2006 to September 2011, where responsibilities encompassed being a Level 2 Authorised Service Provider, solar designer and installer, as well as handling commercial and domestic electrical tasks. Nathan holds an Associate Degree of Engineering in Power from the University of Southern Queensland, earned between 2013 and 2016.
